Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Hybrid working, with 2 days a week in the office near Nottingham

£50,000 - £65,000 plus benefits (negotiable DOE).

We are currently looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a Tech for Good business to help develop new IoT technologies and smart products to help improve safety and efficiency and SAVE LIVES!!

The role will be to help develop a platform underpinned by IoT technologies and numerous industry leading smart products to help improve safety and efficiency, and it offers the opportunity to work in a supportive multi-disciplined team, within a company that has a focus on career development. You will work within a product environment, and not only help to design products, but create these too, whilst working closely with product and project managers to help define requirements.

The successful applicant will ideally possess the following experience:

- 5 years’ experience within electronic design, processes and tools.

- Proficient in PCB Design and Layout, ideally using Altium (but this can be picked up).

- Experience developing RF/Wireless/cellular and low power / battery powered Products.

- Experience working with Product Managers/Project Managers to define requirements.

- Experience working in a product environment and an understanding of the product development life cycle and product compliance.
