Senior Data Scientist

£80,000 - £90,000 DOE

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist that will support our clients data driven culture, leveraging the ever-expanding range of data sources to improve pricing decisions, from exploring competitive landscapes to understanding the way customers use our service.

Requirements:

• numerical agility and ability to work with a large amount of data ideally experience in Pyspark (a willingness to learn Python/ Pyspark is a must)
• good understanding of big data exploration, data modelling, predictive analytics and time series analysis using statistical methods (decision trees, regression techniques, pattern recognition, time series prediction etc.)
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis
• Experience using statistical methods to create models and analyse large dataset using a language of your choice (e.g. R, Python, SQL and advanced Excel).
