Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Purpose

We're currently hiring for a QA Engineer at Bromford, and looking for someone with proven experience as a Hybrid Automation Tester using performance testing tools, JMeter and Gatling is essential, and strong proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Test Strategy and Planning
Test Automation Development
Manual Testing
Defect Management
Test Execution and Reporting
Maintenance and Enhancement
Test Process Improvement

EXPERIENCE

Must have

Demonstrable experience in a customer focused quality assurance automation role
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools

Desirable

Experience or understanding of proprietary Automation tools like Test Complete Pro/Test Sigma
Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI) is a plus.
Microsoft Dynamics 365
Azure DevOps tool
Agile delivery methodologies – Scrum /Kanban

Practical/Technical knowledges

Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#) for test automation scripting
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, pytest)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD concepts
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices
Experience with performance testing tools - JMeter and Gatling is a MUST
