Our client are currently looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a passion or experience leaning towards Networking.

 

They are a listed and large business with multiple sites across the UK predominantly with some overseas. They are amidst a technology revolution and transformation, moving from on Prem to Cloud, across the IT Systems and Infrastructure estate. Amongst all of the major initiative underway, one of these is the migrations from MPLS to SD-WAN next generation networking.

 

This role will be for an all round Infrastructure Engineer who had solid, proven experience in Networking. For the next 12 month, the predominant Project and BAU work for this person will be around Networking and SD-WAN, migrating and implementing it across the entire estate (multiple sites across the country). At quieter times, the individual should be able to support other areas within Infrastructure (hence not looking purely for a Network Engineer).

 

The successful application will possess the following background and experience;

  • Background as an Infrastructure Engineer.
  • Significantly experience and interest in Networking.
  • SD-WAN
  • Cisco Meraki (MX and MS Devices)
  • BGP (Border Gateway Patrol)
  • Layer 3 Routing
  • Change Control
  • Experience working closely with third parties/suppliers.
