Head of Development
Come and work for a software house looking to add to their senior leadership team. Following an extended successful period in trading the client is looking to reinvest in their IT Systems / Ways of Working. Part of the first phase of recruitment in the early stage of this exciting transformation is for a Head of Development.
What we are looking for :
- Strong Advocate of Agile but not Agile Purist.
- Understanding of the implications of technical debt management and strategies to minimize the risk of legacy solutions.
- Management of a development teams, onshore and offshore.
- See’s value in Documentation, open sharing of knowledge and the value of standardisation.
- Experience of Software written in ASP.Net and Winforms , Ideally worked in transformation away from these technologies. (not required to be need to be currently coding, although technical background would helpful)
- Enjoys working within change and transformation situations
- Flexibility, patience and pragmatism
- Happy to focus on maintaining current estate and building capability to support ongoing maintenance & development of new solutions
- Takes a pride in service and delivery.
