I'm looking for a couple of experienced Go engineers to join a globally distributed company offering a popular platform which allows companies to ingest, store & tinker with their own data on scale.
The business itself has been properly in action for 5 years having had it's early prototypes built in stealth over a longer period of time whilst it's founders ran another successful stream of companies. They have recently enjoyed a lucrative round of funding and are looking to expand the team to meet increased industry demand for their now well-renowned developer tooling product.
They're ideally looking for:
- Software engineers at mid level (for them, typically 3 years+ experience)
- Go / Golang experience is essential; they will consider those who haven't worked with it commercially in personal projects.
- They really value opensource contributions & love hobbyist software engineers.
- Cloud experience would be nice - they're not tied to AWS, GCP, Azure or Hashicorp as they have bits in all of them.
- They're happy to upskill you in the likes of Kubernetes
- Rust & Python are included in things they have a couple of use cases for - perhaps an opportunity for you to do something new.
Why would you work here?
- They're a very software developer centric team, building unique tooling for developers themselves in a rapidly growing client base.
- It's a chance to work alongside some very talented engineers, both specialised and generalist.
- Remote working is in their blood and they have seamless communications amongst engineers distributed from the US East Coast to Berlin.
- They have a phenomenal benefits package which includes a very generous home-setup allowance, unlimited L&D budget & an extraordinary employee referral scheme.
If you're interested in hearing a bit more, please apply to the advert and I'll be in touch for an informal chat.
