I am recruiting for a rapidly expanding Fintech, based in London (however happy to consider UK based fully remote individuals)
This is a very exciting company with lots of promise, they need someone to Architect and integrate cutting edge technology for their newly forming data function, taking the lead in building out and maintaining the data warehouse. AMong other responsibilities you will:
- Lead the design, set up and implementation of the data warehouse

Develop data warehouse process models, including sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction.

Create standards and conventions for data warehouse, analytics and ETL systems. Lead governance and enforcement of
standards

Develop high quality design and Architecture
Some of the key areas of experience we are looking for from you:
- Circa 6 years of data architecture or similar experience in a fast growing start-up or similar dynamic environment

Expert experience in leading the design and building of cloud native data warehouses (I.e Snowfake, Redshift, etc)

Strong SQL ability and experience in Python or R

Understanding of Information Security principles to ensure compliant handling and management of dat

Experience modelling for EDW with various sources of data.

Familiarity and interest in both design work as well as building out ETL/ELT pipelines.

Experience on data modelling using Postgresql or Mongodb

Familiarity with project management tools like Confuence and Jira
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the following languages/ methodologies:
● Snowfake , Redshift, Azure, BigQuery or similar
● Kafka, Airfow or similar
● AWS
● SQL
● Python or R
● PostgreSQL
