They are looking to expand their 7 man data tram with a Senior DE (or someone looking to step into this space) dealing with billions of transactions every day, so lots of analysis to be done!

They have implemented some cutting edge tools and is a high overgrooming team to potentially steer and learn from in a very collaborative environment.

Once there, you will be responsible for:

Owning of the quality and simplicity of the system Shaping and continually evolving their core data models

Running and improving our daily reporting ETL (Airflow, Spark, Bigquery)

Helping to drive our transition to a Data Mesh by enabling their product teams to create Data Products Learning about new approaches in Data Engineering and bringing them to bear in their  day-to-day work

You will bring your experience of: Data modelling Creating and maintaining ETL processes Cloud Computing (AWS / GCP) Apache Spark Python Automated testing SQL Git 

You may have worked with: Airflow Google Cloud Platform (Bigquery, GCS, Dataproc) A Linux environment
